Speaker Services Affiliate Program FAQ

Hello it's Susan Levin. Whether you are an old hand at affiliate programs or a total newbie, you may have questions on specifics on how the Speaker Services Affiliate Program works.

I am going to do my best to give you the answers!

When & how often do I get paid?

Commissions will be paid once per month or when the event is complete. For product purchases, payments will be processed following the 30th day after the order date, to account for cancellations or bad payments. For programs/courses, payments will be processed upon completion of the program to account for cancellations or bad payments. No commissions will be paid on canceled orders.

If your total commissions from the previous month amount to less than $50, we'll hold your payment until the following month.

Payment is made by check.

How much do I get paid?

Speakers Summit 2010 - $100 per person

Speaker Services Products 15% of fee

As we add new services and products, we will let you know the exact commission amount or percentage. You can always find the amount / percentage of your commission right here on this FAQ page.

Every time you make a sale you will receive an e mail notice letting you know.

Where do I find my promotion resources?

All the resources you need to promote our products can be found at the affiliate resource center at the back end which you will have access to when you join. You will find logos, banners and suggested copy for e mails, headlines you can use for the social networks, testimonials and more.

Your name

Do the people I send to the product page have to buy immediately?

The beauty of the program is, when clicked on, your affiliate link leaves an active cookie in their browser. So if they look at the page, and decide 10 - 375 days later to buy the product, you still get credit.

HOT TIP:

Its good to promote each product periodically. First, it increases your sales. But most importantly, our affiliate system operates on a last cookie priority queue. What this means is that if your prospect is receiving notifications of our products from affiliates other than you, the affiliate that gets credit is the MOST RECENT affiliate link they clicked on.

So it pays to be the first link they click (to take advantage of quick sales) and the last link they click (for those who may take awhile to decide).

So long as prospects have cookies activated in their browser (most do), make the purchase from machine / browser from which they clicked on your affiliate link, and have not cleared their cookies / cache you should receive credit for the sale.

Who can I email the Summit or product promotions?

Anyone who has given you permission to contact them with information and offers.

Can I post promotions on social networks, blogs and article directories?

Yes!

Can I earn commissions for products I purchase for myself?

We are very sorry, but you can only earn commissions on products others purchase using your affiliate link.
