Books by Larry Johnson

Mexico by Touch: True Life Experiences of a Blind American DeeJay

Product Details

Humorous, highly readable account of the author’s adventures as a blind American in Mexico.

Marvelously charming metamorphosis from tourist to student to popular radio deejay.

A great many books have been published in which the protagonist has been a person who is blind. The unique difference in Mexico by Touch is that it takes place in the fascinating land of Mexico. The author’s blindness is not the central theme of the story, simply one of the components.

The book provides poignant insights into the cultural values and customs of Mexico.  It describes a personal success story of a blind man living in a foreign land, pursuing a career which only a handful of other Americans living in Mexico were permitted to follow by the Mexican government.

And That’s How I See It

Product DetailsThirty-one provocative, humorous and insightful commentaries from his popular newspaper column, including personal views, observations and insights on everything from disability, to raising children, to the value of optimism and hope, the absurdity of some television ads, the deceit by some commercial companies, the joy of simple acts of kindness, and the benefits of growing old.
