Depending on the topic, this may involve an audience member seeking feedback from Ruth and the audience on a business challenge; making a short presentation based on an exercise Ruth has given; or going out of their comfort zone as they put one of Ruth’s teachings into practice in front of the audience.

Meet Ruth van Vierzen…

Ruth van Vierzen has pursued entrepreneurial opportunities since she was a teenager. Growing up in a rural environment meant few jobs for summer students, but she connected with a local organization and quickly found herself busy doing odd jobs for seniors. She was a freelancer before the term became mainstream!  

Ruth is passionate about entrepreneurship and it continues to be a theme in her life. Her career experience spans both the private and public sectors in addition to the challenge of running her own thriving businesses.

“I’m Toastmasters trained and understand the key factors that go into making a seminar or workshop a memorable experience for participants,” Ruth says. “When I speak, my focus is always on providing practical, relevant content they can immediately apply to their businesses. Having delivered numerous talks to various business organizations, I’m comfortable in front of audiences large and small.”
