After experiencing painful trauma in her youth, Norma was compelled to get acquainted with her inner voice and formed a secret alliance at a young age. It was a secret because she could not find anyone who would talk with her about the voices that spoke within her mind –- so she kept this secret to herself. Norma followed this voice as it led her to a career in early childhood development and later, without any knowledge of the business world, Norma followed her inner voice into an entrepreneurial venture that would catapult her into a $50 billion dollar industry. After opening her speakers bureau and training company – Speakers Etcetera – Norma navigated her way through the industry and emerged as the CEO of the largest speakers bureau in the world owned by an African American woman. During Norma’s early childhood career, she created early intervention programs, directed multi-million dollar Head Start programs, and pioneered developing the spirit of the young child. As an intuitive entrepreneur, she builds companies that serve the human spirit, develop the human potential, and provide a catalyst for improving the quality of life. Through all her experiences, Norma has championed the value of voice. Her painful childhood trauma gave birth to an inner voice that allowed her to overcome extreme difficulty. Later, her early childhood training revealed her unique talent for discovering the gifts and talents in others that lead to authenticity. As a result of Norma’s entrepreneurial successes, she has become the voice of experience for leadership and inspires others to remain steadfast in their goals.
