SUPER STRUCTURE

As
a presenter, you will be called upon to deliver in 30 seconds, 5
minutes, 20 minutes, 45 minutes, 2 hours — and everything in between.
Without great speech structure, you really don't know how to balance
information, story support and interaction.
Jack Barnard has developed a dynamic overview that he calls the
Template that gives you the freedom to flesh out, then organize any
length speech (or workshop/seminar/training), including your signature
speech. Also, from the Template, you can create nitty-gritty handouts
and shrewd promo material.
Creating a Template is like putting all the games, rides and
attractions in the amusement park — later, depending on time allotted
and actual audience. you can decide what rides you want to go on.
The Template organizes three easy-to-understand points in which you take us deep, deep, deep!
- Point One: The Problem.
- Point Two: The Solution.
- Point Three: The Action/Takeaway/How-to.
This
presentation will prepare you to speak to small to large audiences,
one-on-one presentations, panel discussions, client and sales
presentations.
- Tap into a systematic approach for creating dynamite presentations
- Prepare and organize an outline for any length presentation
that speaks to small to large audiences, one-on-one presentations,
panel discussions, client and or sales presentations
- Enroll the audience in the problem before you solve it
- Master the formula of spontaneity
- Increase audience retention from 20% -90%
- Create a "selling" handout
Jack Barnard —
the emcee for this singular event and one of its main presenters — is a

COMMUNION — COMFORT & CONNECTION
“The number one fear on the planet is public speaking, which means,
if there was a funeral, most people would rather be in the casket than give the eulogy.”
- Jerry Seinfeld
You've
got your speech together, there you are in front of an audience. The
audience is primed, they've read your promo material, they've seen you
networking or being interviewed, they like the way you talk about your
stuff, they're hooked on your command-brand, they bought into your
marketing strategy. The Game is on, what does the audience want?
They want a grand slam, a slam dunk, a hat trick, a game-breaker. They
want to be led, they want to be surprised, they want to be inspired to
their greatness. They want a life-changing experience.
They want communion!
You
can't fake it. Audiences know it, even if they can't explain it. You
can bring us the best, beautifully branded, bonzai material and if
you're in your head with it, if it's not encoded, if message and
messenger aren't on the same page, thanks for your time, we may give
you high ratings, but we get to go back to our lives, our old habits,
our out-dated beliefs.
Authenticity rules!
- Increase your personal comfort zone, project confidence and competence
- Develop timeless tricks and techniques to overcome the Dread (fear of speaking)
- Build authentic one-to-one thousand connections with your audience
- Familiarize", not "memorize" your material

FRIDAY, MAY 4
Jack Barnard
9am-11am
THE ART OF STORYTELLING
We are a storytelling culture and as a speaker you can tell us the
point you are trying to make and we may understand it, but we get
meaning through stories.
The art of storytelling is a necessary part of successful speaking
(whether keynote, seminar, workshop or training). Pertinent stories
take information from our heads to our hearts. Powerful stories give us
a visual and an emotional set point.
People learn easier if they can visualize your idea. The ability to
visualize a concept or idea enables the listener to see what is being
said as well as hear it, and the subject matter then comes to life for
them.
Storytelling has been used for centuries to pass on information. And
using stories to illustrate and emphasize points today is still the
best way to create picture images that help your audience comprehend
and retain your message.
Every great speaker is a fabulous storyteller.
- Spice up your presentations through storytelling
- Develop three kinds of stories: personal, mythic and cultural
- Choose stories that sell your products and ideas
- Create a "story sandwich" (point-story-point)
- Learn the difference between your "front story" and your "back story"

In
this highly interactive program, you will learn what it really takes to
be outrageously successful in the speaking business. You will discover
that success has very little to do with what you do, what you know and
how hard you work. It also has little to do with your marketing
materials, your platform excellence, or your topic. Truly successful
speakers understand certain principles and use them to outperform the
competition. These will all be
discussed.
Topics to be covered include:
- The only factor that determines your success
- How to use the law of cause and effect to produce the results you want
- Why the telephone can be your best friend
- Get booked and get started in a short period of time

SATURDAY, MAY 5
Jack Barnard
9am-11am
MESMERIZE YOUR AUDIENCE
Openings, closings, humor, interaction
The Three E's of Excellence in the speaking world are: 1) Entertainment
2) Education and 3) Engagement. If you're a presenter, you better be
entertaining, and you better be teaching us something that we don't
know. But even at its best, if you don't make your message/topic about
me, if I haven't been hooked on your style, thanks for the information
but I'll forget it by the time I go to lunch.
An audience must be engaged. That engagement comes through the use of
dynamic openings and closings, humor, and invigorating, relevant
interaction exercises.
Whatever your topic, whatever else your purpose, you want to create
impact with your audience. Content is just one part of the
equation.
Getting the audience involved is the key to retention. There must
be some form of powerful, pertinent interaction! An audience doesn’t
benefit or act until they make the speech or presentation their own.
- Become a magnetic presenter and tap into your innate creativity, spirit and sense of humor
- Hook your audience with an engaging opening and a memorable closing
- Use humor to create magical presentations
- Design audience interactions that exponentially increase results through powerful involvers
- Inspire action and capture attention that produces results
